PAPAYA Project Coordinator – EURECOM
Short bio
Melek Önen is an Associate Professor in the Digital Security Department at EURECOM (Sophia-Antipolis, France) and she is currently the Coordinator of the EU H2020 PAPAYA Project on privacy preserving data analytics
Her research interests are applied cryptography, information security and privacy
She has worked in the design and the development of cryptographic protocols for various technologies including the cloud and the IoT; she was involved in many European projects
She was the Scientific Leader of the EU H2020 TREDISEC Project which was focusing on cloud security
She holds a PhD in Computer Science from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Paris (ENST, 2005)
